ACVO BYLAWS VOTE RESULTS

{ BALLOT PROCESS }

In mid-August 2003 the ACVO office mailed out a packet of information to Diplomates asking for their vote on changes to the 2002 ACVO Bylaws. These changes were recommended by the Governance committee over the summer. Included in that was a ballot and explanation letter. A copy of the 'changes' proposed to the Bylaws was posted on the web site and Diplomates were told they could request a hard copy to review.

Ballots have been collected up until October 20th when the ACVO office closed to travel to the conference location. All ballots were carried to the meeting and information provided to the Secretary/Treasurer. The business meeting took place on October 24, 2003 where individuals who did not already mail in ballots were allowed to vote. All ballots both mail-in and on-site were carefully counted.

{ RESULTS }

Over 95% of the votes submitted approved the acceptance of the amended 2003 Bylaws. A copy of the current 2003 bylaws have been posted on this site if you wish to review or have a copy in your office.
