2012 ACVO Conference Photography Competition Winners

The 2nd Annual ACVO Juried Photography Competition was an outstanding success! Thank you again to our sponsor Acrivet for their generous support. A total of 52 photographs were entered this year in four categories: anterior segment, posterior segment, non-ophthalmic and photo-edited/photo-artistic. New this year was the option for photographers to donate their prints to the Vision for Animals Foundation (VAF) Auction. Buyers had the choice to “Buy It Now” for $100 or to participate in competitive bidding for each print. We are proud to announce that the photography competition raised $845 for the VAF, which supports research in veterinary ophthalmology.

Special thanks to our judges who generously donated their time and expertise: Carrie Breaux, DVM, MVSc, DACVO, Nicholas Millichamp BVetMed, PhD, DVOphthal, DECVO, MRCVS, DACVO, and Kerry Ketring, DVM, DACVO.
