| 2006 CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE |
| Best attended meeting in ACVO history! |
| The
total registration for the 2006 conference was 735. This is an increase
of 220 people over the last two years! Each year the conference works to serve
more and more interested ophthalmologists, general practice DVMs, residents,
interns, technicians, etc.
The exhibitor registration was 54 booths this year (48 - 2005, 42 - 2004, 38 - 2003, 32 - 2002, 28 - 2001). Unfortunately we had to turn 7 exhibitors away due to space limitations. We are attempting to expand our exhibit hall each year to accommodate more companies. It appears our exhibitors are enjoying their networking opportunities with our "decision-making" attendees. Thanks to everyone who attended! |

| { ADDITIONAL COURSES } |
| 2007 was the first year the ACVO offered the "Clinical Ophthalmology for General Practitioners" course. It was well received with 104 attendees and sadly more on a wait list to attend. We hope to expand this in the future to accommodate more interested general practitioners. Please check back for future courses in Kona, Hawaii, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL. |
