| CONGRATULATIONS NEW ACVO HONORARY MEMBERS! |
| During the ACVO business
meeting on October 22nd, Drs. Richard
Dubielzig and Brian Wilcock were elected Honorary Members for life by ACVO
Diplomates. The vote was held and approved by ALL Diplomates in attendance.
Per the ACVO Bylaws, "Honorary
Member status may be conferred upon any person who has achieved
distinction in comparative ophthalmology and made significant
contributions to veterinary ophthalmology."
Both of these individuals certainly fit this description and were very
deserving of this rare award.
Other honorees who have contributed to comparative ophthalmology and were nominated and elected as Honorary Members are: Drs. Ida Mann, Leon Saunders, Otto Uberreiter and Stuart Young. |
