Veterinary Eye Specialists currently operates as an ophthalmology satellite practice of Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Charlotte, North Carolina.  Part time ophthalmology services have been provided at the current location for 18 years and this has resulted in a very strong referral base.  The specialists in Columbia have been serving the South Carolina and Georgia veterinarians for 20 years and currently are constructing a new 20,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility on a 3 acre campus with exposure on a major interstate highway.  With the new facility ready to move into by the end of the year, the opportunity is now available for a full time ophthalmologist in Columbia.   With a well established referral base and a new facility, expansion from a part time to a full time practice should be rapid.
