I completed my residency in comparative ophthalmology at Florida Veterinary Specialists in Tampa , FL and at the University of Florida in Gainesville , FL. I am sincerely thankful for all of my residency mentors including Drs. Kirk Gelatt, Dennis Brooks, Kathy Barrie, Michele Stengard, Maria Kallberg, and Caryn Plummer, as well as for the wonderful mentors I had during my internship at the University of Missouri , including Drs. Cecil Moore, Kristina Narfstrom, Lawrence Galle and Marnie Ford. I’d also like to thank Drs. Stacy Andrew, Heidi Denis, Tim Cutler and Andras Komaromy for their encouragement since my DVM program, and Drs. Erin Champagne, Elizabeth Giuliano, Gia Klauss, Mary Utter, and my fiancé Dr. Troy Trumble for their emotional support and professional advice throughout my ophthalmology career. I have recently relocated to Minneapolis , where I am thoroughly enjoying my new appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor in Comparative Ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical Center.
